Nineteen of Medvedev's 21 titles have been achieved on hard courts
A revitalized Daniil Medvedev won his initial title for over two years with victory over opponent Moutet in the tournament final.
The athlete, a ex- number one, has endured a difficult year, achieving just one match at the big events and suffering a meltdown at the New York tournament.
Medvedev's inconsistency on the tennis tour - and difficulties with his service game in particular - resulted in him falling of the world's top 10 and finally parting ways with long-term mentor Gilles Cervara.
Currently working with Thomas Johansson and Goetzke, the tennis star has steadily improved in the last few weeks - peaking in a hard-fought 7-5 4-6 6-3 victory over Frenchman Moutet.
It is Medvedev's maiden trophy following the 2023 Rome Masters and initial on a hardcourt from that period of that year.
The win also means Medvedev has won twenty-one championships at 21 various competitions.
"This marks the first occasion I have attended a competition with my children together, so to secure a championship is particularly special," said world number 14 the champion.
"This victory is in dedication of my second daughter Victoria, because the first title I got when my child her name was delivered was for her."
The athlete, the former major winner, had lost his last six championship matches, including in Halle previously this season.
The player's counter-punching play style and recurring emotional displays on court had led commentators to question if his skill to compete at the top level was finished.
However the player has altered his approach in recent weeks, striving to approach the net and perform assertively, backed up by an improved serving game.
The champion came back from a break down in the initial set against the tricky opponent, taking 4 of the final five exchanges to gain the advantage.
The competitors traded break points in the following set before the challenger, striving for his maiden tour championship, seized the initiative to force a final set.
The opponent saved four initial break points in a tight third set before Medvedev won the break to fifteen to close out the victory.
Suitably, the winner secured the win with a point at the net, with Moutet unable to control a shot after over two and a half hours.
